Why name a Graphic Design business after a cocktail?
The answer is simple - making a cocktail is creative, fun and the final product looks brilliant. The Daiquiri especially allows for personalised taste as you can add the fruit of your choice to give it your favourite colour and tang.
The history
The daiquiri was invented by an American mining engineer working in Cuba in 1896. He was expecting some high powered guests, but his supplies of gin had run out, so he experimented with rum - and one of the world's favourite cocktails was born. |

Try your own Daiquiri
• Cracked ice
• Juice of two limes
• One teaspoon sugar syrup
• Three measures white rum
Put lots of cracked ice into a cocktail shaker. Pour the lime juice, sugar syrup and rum over the ice. Shake thoroughly until a frost forms, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
You can also muddle your favourite fruit and add it to the lime juice, sugar syrup, rum and ice to create your own flavour. |
